Duties:
Under the direction of the Principal/Director, the Culinary Arts Teacher is responsible for administering the Culinary Arts Program for Southeast College.

Valid Teaching Certificate

Youth Care Leader - Casual
Southeast College is accepting applications for a Casual Youth Care Leader, for the 2010-2011 school year commencing September 2010.
Duties:
Under the direction of the Lodge Manager, the Youth Care Leader is responsible for day to day care of the student body. This care includes the daily monitoring of the social living environment. This is a 24 hour care facility, which requires shift work.
Qualifications
Desired qualifications include:
Experience with High school aged aboriginal youth
Experience with social services( CFS )
Involvement in community work
Conflict Resolution, suicide prevention, chemical addictions, ( would be an asset)
Aboriginal Language ( Objiwe) ( would be an asset)
First Aid Training ( would be an asset)

Life Skills Counsellor- MALE

Maintenance Coordinator
Southeast College is accepting applications for a Maintenance Coordinator for the School and Lodge facilities.
Duties:
Under the direction of the Director/Principal, the Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance of the school and lodge facilities, in order to ensure that the buildings are structurally and mechanically in good working order. This person is also responsible to direct, lead and monitor the maintenance activities of 3 employees, in the areas of building maintenance.
Qualifications
Desired qualifications include:
Class 4 Power Engineer Certificate, will consider Class 5 with minimum of 5 years experience Demonstrated Leadership Skills
Multiple disciplines in a variety of trades:
Plumbing
Electrical
Carpentry
Able to work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, combination of sitting and demanding, walking, bending, crouching, Kneeling, Handling weight up 23 KG
